Denny Jakubiec

Hi, I’m Denny, co-founder of Mosaic Pickleball. My journey to this point has been anything but ordinary. With a background in mechanical engineering, I spent years building my career in problem-solving and design. Over time, I found myself drawn to a different kind of challenge, creating spaces where people can connect, grow, and share joy. That path led me to coffee and eventually, pickleball.

What started as a personal passion for the game quickly grew into something bigger. I realized pickleball wasn’t just about competition, it was about the stories, friendships, and shared moments that happen on and off the court. That’s where the idea for Mosaic Pickleball was born.

At Mosaic, we believe every player adds a unique piece to the bigger picture. Whether you’re picking up a paddle for the first time or competing at a high level, your presence matters. My goal is to bring people together through tournaments and events that celebrate individuality while building a stronger, more connected community.

For me, it’s not just about organizing games, it’s about helping create something greater than the sum of its parts.

Brian Spehar

Hey! I’m Brian, Co-Founder of Mosaic Pickleball.

Sports have made a huge impact on my life, & Over the past couple of years I’ve found an interest in managing/coaching, This would include traveling, fundraising, recruiting, and the strategic side of the game, which gave me a different perception that I’ve grown to love! With four children, my duties of being a father needed to remain a priority. But I still had an itch of doing something impactful, and that is when I stumbled upon Pickleball, and met my co-partner Denny. It has been great meeting people throughout the community, & I felt I could take my history of competing and managing to an organization standpoint, and give players another reason to pick up a paddle!

With Mosaic Pickleball, my goal is to make every experience better than the last. I strive for excellence and appreciate all criticism and feedback to continuously improve. I believe everyone should experience the thrill and anticipation leading up to an event, or the success of winning your first tournament! We would love nothing more but for you, the player, to experience that at a Mosaic Pickleball Event.
